My holiday is actually very common, but in my opinion interesting enough to share a holiday. Not long ago, around the holidays increase in class yesterday, I along with my older sister and his friends go to different museums in Jakarta. The first place I visited was the Museum of Bank Indonesia, as you can imagine, there are various currencies from around the globe from ancient times until now. In addition there are also miniature history of Indonesian independence, and uniforms from the War of Indonesia, Japan, etc.. And keep in mind, to get into the Museum of Bank Indonesia does not require a fee.
Furthermore, around 10 o’clock in the morning, we went to the Museum Fatahillah contained in the Old City. Inside the Museum Fatahillah there are various relics of Dutch colonization. There is a dungeon, and wells. There was also a variety of jars, and other furniture such as desks, chairs, and beds that are durable because it is made of wood kokog. We only have to pay under Rp.5000.
Still we continue the journey, but because it was already afternoon, we opted to rest first at Gazebo Cafe, resting after a meal. We continue the journey to the Elephant Museum.
In front of the Elephant Museum there are various inscriptions and statues from stone. Inside the Elephant Museum there are many different room, we went into the textile, there are a variety of fabrics from Indonesia, such as fabric Ulos and songket. Then we go deeper into, and found the room was disconnected with each other, we see that there are many relics from the ancient jewelry and artifacts. Because it’s late and the museum is completed, we left the Elephant Museum.
Our vacation on the day was ended by going to Ragusa Ice Cream, located in Central Jakarta, there is provided a variety of ice cream from Italy, and the atmosphere is very traditional place as of old, but the place is clean and comfortable. Although prices are relatively cheap ice cream, but it’s also quite affordable. Our vacation was over, and I think this holiday fun
